Nature:

This Island is surrounded by native forests of coihues, cypress, hazel, Ulmo, and other species. The undergrowth is mainly murta, which offers exquisite fruit at the end of March.

From time to time, you can see pudu, the smallest deer in the world, huiña, and birds such as cara-cara, hummingbirds, “bacon-eaters,” Magellanic woodpecker, tiuque, etc. Birds nest on the shores above the water, where you can find rainbow trout.

Buildings:

There is a dirt trail that surrounds the island and there are others that connect different buildings. On the island, there are two houses and secondary constructions, one for the generator and another fuel cellar. There is also a chicken coop, where there are currently 20 hens for the supply of eggs. Around the houses, there are fruit trees such as cherry trees, sour cherries, plum trees and others.

Both houses have solar panels, and a generator as needed. Both houses have running water, and an electricity system was renovated 4 years ago at 220w. The roofs were renovated 2 years ago, and their maintenance is impeccable.

The house is made of native alerce and cypress wood. The exterior displays impregnated cypress shingles. A new roof was installed 3 years ago and is made of zinc plate imitation singles. There is insulation both on the roof and in the floor to help maintain indoor temperatures.

The cabin:

It is located on high ground directly facing the lake and has its own floating dock for a boat. It is accessed through a large terrace where you can see the large windows on the first floor.
